arch@techdriven:~$ terraform plan -out=migration.tfplan
IT consulting · cloud architecture — Chicago
Architecture that won't bite you later.
We don't hand over a slide deck and wish you luck. We map what you're running, design the target, write the Terraform, run the migration — and hand back something your own team can operate.
arch@techdriven:~$ ls practice/
Three practices. One team.
// the engineer who scopes it is the engineer who builds it
01 / 03
Cloud Architecture & Migrations
Production AWS built from scratch — or rescued from what you inherited. We design for the failure modes first, then make it cheap to run.
Scope
- VPC, load balancing, WAF, CDN
- Migrations with a rollback path
- Cost review after every phase
02 / 03
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
A manual process is an expense with extra steps. If your team does it by hand every week, we turn it into code someone can read, review, and revert.
Scope
- Provisioning, patching, onboarding
- Data pipelines and reporting
- CI/CD that fails loudly, not silently
03 / 03
AI Integration & Intelligent Workflows
Practical AI inside real workflows — not demos. Bedrock pipelines where the cloud is fine, local models where the data can't leave the building.
Scope
- Retrieval over your own documents
- Self-hosted models for sensitive data
- Slack and ticketing integrations
arch@techdriven:~$ cat engagement.md
4 phasesHow an engagement runs.
// fixed scope per phase — you can stop after any one of them
Audit
Two weeks, read-only. We map what you're running, what it costs, and what's about to break. You keep the findings whether or not you hire us for the next phase.
Design
The target architecture on paper before anything moves — tradeoffs written down, migration sequenced so nothing depends on a heroic weekend.
Build
We write the Terraform and run the cutovers. Your engineers sit in the reviews, so nothing lands as a black box they inherit later.
Handover
Runbooks, dashboards, and a walkthrough with the people who'll own it. If you never need to call us again, that counts as the job going well.
Bring us the mess. We'll draw the map.
Send what you're running, what it costs, and what keeps breaking. An engineer reads it — not a form router.
